Coast Guard operation : 3 drug traffickers arrested with 2,576 pieces of Yaba in Khulna

Three drug traffickers were arrested with 2,576 pieces of Yaba in separate Coast Guard operations in Rupsha and Koyra in Khulna.
Coast Guard Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Siam-ul-Haq gave this information on Friday night.
Based on secret information, BCG Station Rupsha and BCG Station Koira under the Coast Guard West Zone conducted 4 separate operations in Khan Jahan Ali Toll Plaza under Rupsha Police Station in Khulna and Dashhalia Kheya Ghat area in Koira from 7 am to 12 noon on Friday.
During the operation, 3 drug traffickers, namely Md. Fatema (50), Shahina Akhtar (23) and Md. Belal Hossain (35), along with 2,576 pieces of Yaba and 01 motorcycle, were arrested. The arrested drug traffickers are residents of Maheshkhali police station in Cox's Bazar and Debhata police station in Satkhira.
The seized drugs and the arrested persons handed over to concerned police station for further legal action.
Bangladesh Coast Guard has been patrolling 24 hours to maintain the law and order situation in the country. Through which the law and order situation in the coastal and riverine areas under the jurisdiction of the Coast Guard has improved to a great extent.
The Coast Guard will continue such operations in the future as well.
