The International Youth Changemaker (IYCM) Chittagong Chapter successfully hosted its installation ceremony and annual Iftar Mahfil at the Siddiquee Chamber Rooftop in Chittagong City on Friday.

The event brought together distinguished guests, organizational leaders, and volunteers to celebrate leadership, service, and community spirit.

The installation ceremony was presided over by Lion Muhammad Obidur Rahman, President of IYCM Chittagong Chapter, with the gracious presence of Lion Sheikh Shamsuddin Ahmed Siddique, Second Century Ambassador and PDG Lions International, and Advisor of IYCM Chittagong Chapter, alongside esteemed guests and advisors including Lion Parveen Mahmud FCA PMJF, Communication Specialist Sayeed Milky, and Poet & Organizer Sharud Nizam, all of whom shared inspiring words on the occasion.

IYCM Secretary Farhana Khan Jyoti conducted the proceedings, and the Chairman of the Iftar Organizing Committee, IYCM Chittagong Vice President Adv Mohammad Joynaal Abedin welcomed all. The event also featured an address by IYCM Chittagong Chief Executive Officer Md. Mohin Uddin Liton, who highlighted the impactful activities and vision of the organization.

A key highlight of the evening was the formal presentation of the President's Collar to Lion Muhammad Obidur Rahman by IYCM Advisor Lion Sheikh Shamsuddin Ahmed Siddiqui PMJF and Lion Parvin Mahmud FCA PMJF, symbolizing a renewed commitment to youth leadership and social empowerment.The event was attended by an enthusiastic group of IYCM members and executives, including Joint General Secretary Abdul Kaium, Treasurer Gazi Muhammad Maqsud, Fund Raising Officer Md. Omar Karim, Associate Fund Raising Officer Arman Hossain, Event Management Officer Tausif Rizon, Public Relations and Media Officer Mohibul Hasan Rafi, Education and Training Officer MSH Munna, Associate Education and Training Officer Chaiti Barua, along with Executive Members Mohammad Abu Hanif Liton, Md. Ashiqur Rahman, Muhammad Arafat Hossain, Habibur Rahman, Md. Rafiqul Islam, Jannatun Naeem Nishi, Abdus Shukkur, Zahedur Alam Sajeeb, Kavy, Tanmoy Debnath, Omar Farukh Rezaul Mostafa, Miraj Hossain, Sujan Debnath, Morsheda Khanam Tamanna, and Mehena Tabassum Tanha.

As a forward-looking youth-driven platform, IYCM Chittagong Chapter continues to empower young changemakers through impactful service and leadership programs. The next phase of training and service activities is set to commence after Eid, reinforcing IYCM’s commitment to fostering innovation, skill development, and community service.
