An upazila-level Advocacy and Networking Forum meeting was held in Manikchhari, Khagrachari under the auspices of the CPP PAEP-2 project of the non-governmental development organization Caritas.
An upazila-level Advocacy and Networking Forum meeting was held in Manikchhari, Khagrachari under the auspices of the CPP PAEP-2 project of the non-governmental development organization Caritas.
The meeting held at the upazila office room of Caritas at 11 am on Wednesday (May 28) was moderated by Field Officer Sadhan Krishna Chakma and chaired by Krapru Marma. Md. Nazmul Haque, Program Officer (ECFS) of Caritas Dhaka Central Office, Bandarban Office, Remon Asam, Program Officer of Batnatali Mouza Catchingu Chowdhury, Sanatan Leader Dr. Amar Kanti Dutta, Journalist Md. Rabiul Hossain and Chingwamong Marma Mintu, along with the relevant officials of the forum, spoke.
The speakers at the meeting said, 'Caritas is working for the socio-economic development of the marginalized and backward communities. The organization is implementing various programs to improve the quality of life of the extremely poor, disadvantaged and backward common people. In addition, it is informing the common people about various government service institutions at the upazila level and their services and facilities.
Members of the Upazila Forum, Community Agricultural Education Center, Union Forum, NGO representatives, representatives of sports organizations, headmen, Karbari and civil society representatives, along with beneficiaries, were present at the meeting.
