BRUR holds seminar on research, higher education in Russia

A seminar on research and higher education in Russia has been held for Rangpur Begum Rokeya University students on Saturday afternoon.
The seminar was held in the virtual classroom of Academic Building-2 with the chief guest Professor Dr. Mohammad Shawkat Ali, Vice Chancellor of the university.
At the time, he said that arrangements were being made for Berobi students to learn different languages for their skill development outside of academic studies. If arrangements are made to learn Russian, it will be easier for students and researchers to pursue higher education in Russia. He called for creating opportunities for Berobi students in higher education and research in various universities in Russia. The Vice Chancellor said that language and cultural exchange will play an important role in developing relations between Russia and Bangladesh.The seminar organized by the Berobi Scholarship Support Office was attended by Professor Dr. Mohamad Ilyas Pramanik, Director of the Student Counseling and Guidance Office, and Registrar Dr. Mohammad Harun-or Rashid. The guests of honor at the event were Pavel Devoy Chenkov, Counselor of the Russian Embassy in Dhaka, and Dr. Mohammad Ziaul Hasan, Treasurer of Stamford University.
