Audience mesmerized by Ustad Azizul Islam's magnificent flute playing

The National Press Club organized a solo flute evening by renowned flute player Ustad Azizul Islam on Friday. evening.
At the beginning of the program, the club's general secretary Ayub Bhuiyan delivered a welcome speech and club president Kabi Hasan Hafiz declared the program open by paying tribute to the Ustadji. The program began at 7 pm under the control of Kazi Rawnak Hossain, convener of the cultural sub-committee. The program was attended by managing committee treasurer Bakhtiar Rana, members Quader Gani Chowdhury, Syed Abdal Ahmed, AKM Mohsin, Shahnaz Begum Poli, Mohammad Momin Hossain, club members and families, and music-hungry listeners.
At the beginning of the program, the artist first performed Raga Shyam Kalyan, a short alap and then Jhapatal and three rhythmic gats. Then Raga Hanshadhni. Raga Jay-Jayanti and a few other ragas were played briefly. Finally, the program ended with the music of Mishra Pilu and Mishra Khambaj. When the audience was going back, the beautiful sound and murmur of the flute were echoing in their ears. Special thanks were given to the club authorities for such an arrangement.
At the end of the ceremony, Ustad Azizul Islam was presented with a commemorative plaque by the National Press Club by club president Kabi Hasan Hafiz, general secretary Ayub Bhuiyan, and members of the management committee.
