As-Sunnah Foundation distributes fruit saplings at Betagi

As part of the "2 Lakh Tree Plantation Program 2026" organized by the As-Sunnah Foundation to promote environmental conservation and build a greener Bangladesh, 2,800 various saplings were distributed among all students of Betagi Government Pilot High School.
The distribution event took place on Thursday morning at 11:00 AM on the school grounds. The picturesque sight of students standing in neat rows across the green field to receive their saplings attracted local onlookers, with students appearing joyful and enthusiastic throughout the event.
The program was held under the overall supervision of Supreme Court Advocate and Assistant Attorney General of Bangladesh Arifur Rahman Arif, who also serves as a representative of the As-Sunnah Foundation.
Guests attending the event included former municipal mayor and upazila chairman Shahjahan Kabir, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Muha: Saddam Hossain, BNP leader Jalilur Rahman Nanna Khan, Police Station OC Harun Or Rashid, School Headmaster Md. Awlad Hossain, and former acting headmaster Shahjahan Gazi.
School Headmaster Md. Awlad Hossain remarked that trees have no alternative when it comes to preserving the environment and ensuring a clean, habitable future world. He called upon various social organizations to encourage students to plant trees.
Assistant Attorney General Advocate Arifur Rahman thanked the school headmaster, students, teachers, and leaders of various political parties in attendance. He stated that his public service activities will continue in the future and praised the As-Sunnah Foundation for consistently serving humanity through humanitarian work.
