Begum Khaleda Zia Memorial Football Tournament-2026 inaugurated in Biral

The inauguration and opening game of the Begum Khaleda Zia Memorial Football Tournament were held in Biral Upazila of Dinajpur.
The tournament, held at the Biral Government Pilot Model High School grounds on Friday afternoon, was inaugurated by the chief guest, Whip of the National Parliament, Akhtaruzzaman Mia MP.

Dinajpur-3 (Sadar) constituency MP Syed Jahangir Alam, Biral UNO Rezaul Islam, Upazila BNP President Babul Hossain, Bochaganj Upazila BNP President (acting) Kashem Ali, General Secretary Shafiqul Alam, Birol Upazila BNP General Secretary Sultan Mahmud, Birol Municipal BNP Acting President Asadul Haque Hira, General Secretary Nurjamal Hossain Sonahar, Birol Police Station Officer-in-Charge Al Emran, Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Partha Jimbay Sarkar, Agriculture Officer Rumman Akhter, Project Implementation Officer Arifur Rahman and others were present as special guests.
In the opening match, Nilphamari Football Academy defeated the host Biral Upazila Sports Association by a margin of 1-2 goals to win.
