3-day Climate-Smart Agri Technology Fair inaugurated in Kalia

A 3-day Climate Smart Agricultural Technology Fair 2025 was inaugurated in Kalia, Narail.
The Upazila Agriculture Office has organized the fair under the Climate Change Adaptation Project of Khulna Agricultural Region through Climate Smart Technology.
Deputy Director of the Department of Agricultural Extension, Narail's agriculturist Md. Jasim Uddin, delivered the opening speech as the chief guest at the inaugural meeting of the fair held at the Upazila Parishad premises on Monday morning under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Md. Rasheduzzaman.
Project Director, agriculturist Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni, Kalia Upazila Agriculture Officer, agriculturist Eva Mallick, Upazila Fisheries Officer Abu Raihan and others were present at the time. In addition, more than a hundred farmers from different areas of the upazila, as well as journalists from various print and electronic media, were present.
After the meeting, a rally started from the upazila premises and ended at the Upazila Agriculture Office.
At this time, Deputy Director of the Department of Agricultural Extension, Narail's agriculturist Md. Jasim Uddin, inaugurated the fair by releasing pigeons and balloons, symbols of peace. He then visited various stalls of the Climate Smart Agricultural Fair 2025.
Farmers were given ideas at the fair about how to cultivate fruits and crops in a more advanced and easier way by adopting technology-based methods.
