The 21st Syndicate Meeting of the Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology (BAUET) was held on Thursday at the Syndicate Room of the University with Vice-Chancellor, Brigadier General S M Lutfor Rahman in the chair, says a press.release.

The meeting approved several important agendas, including the recommendations of the 26th (Emergency) and 27th Academic Council meetings, the proceedings and recommendations of the 24th and 25th Finance Committee meetings, the recommendations of the 19th and 20th Discipline Committee meetings, and the approval of the BAUET Annual Report 2024, among other significant decisions.

Brigadier General Md. Anisur Rahman, ndc, afwc, psc (Retd.), Director, Army Welfare Trust (Education Division); Colonel Md. Shawkat Hossain, psc (Retd.), Treasurer of BAUET; Prof Dr Pranab Kumar Panday, Department of Public Administration, University of Rajshahi; Colonel Jobaer Ahmed, psc, Colonel Admin, Area Headquarters, Bogura; Professor Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Science and Humanities; Professor Dr. Mohammad Nurul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Head of the ME Department; Professor Mohammad Golam Sarwar Bhuiyan, Dean, Faculty of ECE; and Major Md. Monjinul Mubin (Retd.), Acting Registrar and Member Secretary of the Syndicate were present.

Additionally, the meeting was joined online by Md. Nazrul Islam, Joint Secretary (Admin-1), Ministry of Education and nominated member of the Syndicate, and Lt. Colonel Mohammad Rashedul Hasan Rahat, psc, representative of the Director, Welfare and Rehabilitation Directorate.
