' Horizon X' in Dinajpur on science, space ideas : Dinajpur students think beyond boundaries of earth, into space

A two-day science and space event 'DZS Presents: Beyond the Earth – Horizon X' is starting in Dinajpur to enhance science , space science , creativity and problem-solving skills among students.
This event will be held on the school campus on August 14 and 15, initiated by the SSC 2027 batch students of Dinajpur District School.
The organizers expect that about 600 students from different areas including Dinajpur will participate in it. The two-day event will have various sections including science and space competitions , quizzes , case solving , creative activities , photography. Through this, students will have an opportunity to develop their logical thinking , innovative thinking and problem-solving skills in addition to their textbook-based knowledge .
Organized with the theme 'Beyond the Earth, Beyond the Horizon', the program will include various science and space-related activities as well as opportunities for students to exchange views with special guests.
The organizers aim to get students interested in the new world of science and innovation, beyond the boundaries of the traditional education system .
Ishan Karmakar, one of the organizers of the event , said , “Horizon X is not just a competition ; our main goal is to bring students’ curiosity , creativity, and scientific mind-set on one platform. We want students to learn to think scientifically , not just for exam results , but also for solving real problems and inventing new things. ”
According to the organizers , there are relatively few opportunities for such science-based events for students outside the country's major cities. As a result, such events in Dinajpur can not only be limited to competitions but also play a role in developing a scientific , innovative, and research-oriented mindset in students.
Preparations have already been completed to make Horizon X , an educational , creative and fun event organized by the students of Dinajpur District School , a success. The organizers hope that the two-day event will inspire the participating students to think in new ways and be curious about the unknown world outside the earth.
