Victory Day celebrated in Khagrachari

The Victory Day was celebrated in Khagrachari with various programs by paying tribute to those who gave their lives in exchange for the map and the flag.
In 1971, the brave sons of this country fought a long nine-month bloody war with courage and bravery and brought a glorious victory through sacrifice. The month of victory of the Liberation War is December 16.
The program began with 31 cannon shots to celebrate the day.
On Monday morning, the freedom fighters paid tribute by laying flowers at the memorial adjacent to Chenggi Square. Then, one by one, Zila Parishad Chairman Jiruna Tripura, Deputy Commissioner Md. Shahiduzzaman, Police Md. Arefin Jewel and Khagrachari Press Club, various government offices, BNP, various socio-cultural organizations, various educational institutions, teachers and students paid tribute to the martyrs by offering flowers.
Various programs and arrangements have been taken to celebrate the day with due dignity, firstly, the national flag was hoisted officially at the Circuit House, the victory fair was inaugurated in front of the town hall, the heroic freedom fighters and freedom fighters were felicitated, special food and cultural programs were organized in hospitals, orphanages and children's families.
