Victory Day celebrated at Bhuyapur in Tangail

The Victory Day was celebrated on 16th December with befitting dignity at Bhuyapur in Tangail with great enthusiasm. The day begins with 31 gunfires at sunrise.
After that, people from all walks of life, including the upazila administration, freedom fighter parliament, police administration, government and private educational institutions, various political organizations, journalists' organization Reporters Unity, laid wreaths at the martyr's altar in the upazila parishad premises.
After hoisting the national flag, releasing the white dove symbol of peace, floral greetings to the freedom fighters and their families and discussion meeting ended the 1st phase of the program.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mosa: Popi Khatun, Assistant Commissioner Bhumi Fahima Binte Akhtar, Thana Officer-in-Charge AKM Rezaul Karim, Reporters Unity President Mizanur Rahman, General Secretary Hadi Chakdar and others were present.
In the 2nd phase of the day, at the initiative of the upazila administration, Mukti Jodha XI vs Teachers XI, Journalist XI vs Bazar Bank Samiti XI football match, women's football match and cultural programs were organized in the afternoon.
