Great Victory and National Day was celebrated at Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology (BAUET) campus Qadirabad Cantonment, Natore. On the day, the national and university flags were hoisted and honored at the campus on Monday by Honorable Vice-Chancellor Brigadier General Md Mizanuzzaman and Registrar Lt. Col. K F A Sohel (Retd.) respectively.

The Dean, Faculty of Science and Humanities Professor Dr Md Sazzad Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Law Professor Dr Md Shahidul Islam, Head, Department of CSE Professor Mohammad Golam Sarwar Bhuiyan, Proctor and Head, Department of CE Associate Professor Dr Engineer Md Mahmudur Rahman, Advisor Student Welfare and Assistant Professor Department of Mathematics Md Masudar Rahman, Assistant Professor Department of ME Major Md Abdul Hamid (Retd.), Deputy Registrar (Academic) Md Ashraful Islam, Heads of various departments, teachers and officers and employees were present there.

Among other programs, the messages of the Honorable President, Chief Advisor and Chief of Army Staff were disseminated, special prayers were offered at the BAUET Central Mosque for the forgiveness of the departed souls of the martyred freedom fighters, good health of the war-wounded freedom fighters, peace, prosperity, progress of the nation and further prosperity and progress of the armed forces.

Victory Day celebrated at Baraigram

The Great Victory and National Day was celebrated at Baraigram Upazila of Natore by organizing various programs with due dignity. On the day, the Upazila Administration, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, BNP took separate programs. The upazila administration initiated formal hoisting of the national flag, laying of wreaths at the memorial, welcoming and discussing on the brave freedom fighters at the upazila parishad auditorium. Also, the Pitha festival organized by the Bonpara St.Joseph's School and College.

The discussion meeting organized under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Laila Jannatul Ferdous and it was moderated by Upazila Youth Development Officer Md Rafiqul Islam. The meeting was addressed among others by Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md Ashraful Islam, Upazila BNP Joint Convener Abdus Salam Molla, Bonpara Municipal BNP Convener Assistant Professor Lutfar Rahman, Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Maulana Habibur Rahman, Upazila Youth Division President Abdullah Al Awal Momin, brave freedom fighters Abul Khair and Bayat Reza and student representative of the Anti-Discrimination Movement Mahabub Sardar.
