Preparatory meet to celebrate ‘July Martyrs Day, July Mass Uprising Day’ in Rangpur

The Rangpur District Administration organized a preparatory meeting to celebrate "July Martyrs' Day 2026" and "July Mass Uprising Day 2026" with due dignity and solemnity on Monday.
With Rangpur Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ruhul Amin in the chair, Administrator of Rangpur City Corporation Adv. Mahfuz –Un- Nabi Don, was present as the chief guest. Begum Rokeya University Registrar Dr. Ferdous Hasan, other officers of Deputy Commissioner's Office and the representative of Police officers were present on the occasion.
In the meeting, a detailed discussion was held on the necessary guidelines, coordination and overall preparations for the successful and orderly implementation of the programs of the two days.
With deep respect for the sacrifice of the martyrs and the spirit of the mass uprising, it was resolved to celebrate "July Martyrs' Day 2026" and "July Mass Uprising Day 2026" with due dignity on July 16 and August 5, respectively.
