Boalkhali Press Club distributes gifts to waterlogged victims

100 gift packets have been distributed by the Boalkhali Press Club to inquire about the people stranded in the continuous heavy rains and waterlogging and to stand by the affected families.
On Monday morning, the leaders of the Press Club visited various waterlogged areas of West Gomdandi Wards 8 and 9 of the upazila and Popadia Union. At that time, gift packets were distributed to 100 affected families.
Boalkhali Press Club President Md. Sirajul Islam, Executive Member Adhir Barua, General Secretary Yasin Chowdhury, Organizing Secretary Syed Md. Nazrul Islam, Prabhas Chakraborty, members Shaha Alam Bablu, Monir Chowdhury, Rana Sabuj Aranya, Shahed Hossain Choton and Tajul Islam Manik were present at the time.
Press Club leaders said that standing by the people affected by disasters is part of social responsibility.
