Allegation of ambush by motorcycle with Chhatra League tag in Mirsarai

A young man named Riyad Chowdhury (23) has been accused of being ambushed and robbed of cash and a mobile phone by wearing a Chhatra League tag in Mirsarai, Chittagong.
The incident took place on Sunday at around 9:30 pm at the entrance to Putuli Tek Tin Road on the north side of Mirsarai Farukia Road, Mirsarai Cap. The attackers stole Riyad Chowdhury's mobile phone, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, and cash.
Riyad Chowdhury also said, "I was going to my uncle's house on a motorcycle when I reached Putuli Tek, the mouth of the three streets on the north side of Mirsarai Kape, when I was stopped from the east."
A group of 7/8 terrorists attacked me by blocking my movement. The terrorists smashed my forehead and eyes with bricks and stones and severely injured one leg with an iron rod. The attackers are identified as robbers. They are involved in various criminal activities in the area including extortion, drug dealing, using the name of a political party. Before August 5, they were associated with Chhatra League and Jubo League and were involved in these crimes.
Mirsarai Police Station OC Farida Yasmin said, "I have not heard of such an incident. If anyone files a written complaint, legal action will be taken subject to investigation."
