The final match and prize distribution ceremony of Munshiganj District Premier League Season-1 was held at Arial Swarnamoyi High School ground in Tongibari Upazila at 3:30 pm on Friday.
Munshiganj District BNP Convener and former State Minister for Health Mizanur Rahman Sinha was present as the chief guest in the game. The main speaker was District BNP Convener Committee Member and Tongibari Upazila BNP General Secretary Md. Amir Hossain Dolon. District BNP Convener Committee Member and Louhajang Upazila BNP General Secretary Habibur Rahman Apu Chakladar and Tongibari Upazila BNP Vice President Akter Hossain Mollah were present as special guests.
Tongibari XI vs Gazaria XI faced each other in the final game. After winning the toss, Tongibari XI batted first and scored 118 runs in the stipulated 9 overs. In reply, Gazaria XI batted first and reached the target with 2 balls remaining in the stipulated overs, losing only 5 wickets.
After the match, the guests presented trophies and prizes to the winning and runner-up teams.
