Human chain, discussion to prevent anti-social activities in Jamalpur

Local residents held a meeting and human chain in Islampur, Jamalpur, protesting against the increase in anti-social activities such as alcohol, gambling, yaba, marijuana and drug abuse.
The meeting was organized by the Kathma Janata Bazar Merchants' Association of Noarpara Union of the upazila on Thursday noon.
The meeting held at Janata Bazar Madrasa ground was presided over by Rakibul Member, President of the Traders' Association.
Noarpara Union BNP President Ed. Monir Hossain Palash, Banik Samity General Secretary Zillur Rahman, Mahmudpur Union BNP Organizing Secretary Zillur Rahman, Noarpara Union BNP Organizing Secretary and Jubo Dal Convener Billal Hossain, Publicity Secretary Abdullah Kazi, Union Chhatra Dal Joint General Secretary Abu Bakkar and other individuals spoke.
