Journalist leader MA Aziz says : BNP has no alternative to protect independence, sovereignty

Journalist leader MA Aziz, who is seeking nomination as a BNP MP candidate from Pabna 1 Constituency, has said that there is no alternative to BNP coming to power to protect the independence and sovereignty of Bangladesh achieved through the Liberation War.
He made these comments during a mass rally on behalf of BNP in various areas including Selanda, Dhulauri, Rauti, Bhulbaria, Ataikula, and others in Bera and Santhia upazilas of Pabna on Saturday afternoon.
During an exchange of views with BNP supporters and activists and locals, M Aziz said, "After the fall of the dictatorship in present-day Bangladesh, right-wingers are trying to establish rule through the conspiracy of Jamaat. They want to mislead people in the name of Islam. They want to achieve their own interests by misinterpreting religion. The people of this country will never allow the evil attempt to turn Bangladesh into Pakistan during the Liberation War to succeed."
MA Aziz also said that the interim government has failed to stop the evil attempts of Islamic parties to erect the 24th uprising against Bangladeshi nationalism and the Liberation War. Their efforts are not visible. Knowing that BNP is certain to win, various conspiracies are going on to sabotage the election. The people of Pabna 1 constituency are ready to respond to all conspiracies under the leadership of BNP.
Earlier, a huge procession of supporters of MA Aziz took out from his home village Patgari and circled various villages in the constituency. At that time, locals welcomed MA Aziz by waving their hands. At the road meeting, leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliates urged the BNP high command to field MA Aziz as a candidate for the post of Member of Parliament from Pabna 1 constituency.
At this time, journalist MA Aziz pledged to work for the betterment of the marginalized communities and build a humane society. He also promised to take a strict stand against agriculture-based development plans and corruption in Pabna 1 constituency if he comes to power.
