
Matiranga Medical Center inaugurated

The Matiranga Medical Center Clinical Laboratory has been inaugurated in Matiranga, Khagrachari to provide medical services to people in remote areas at low cost.
Pharmacist Khalilur Rahman inaugurated the medical center as the chief guest through a prayer and mahfil near the upazila health complex on Thursday (September 4).
After the inauguration ceremony, freedom fighter Abul Hashem said, "The need to ensure modern, affordable and quality healthcare in this area with the belief of accurate treatment at low cost is increasing day by day. I think this medical center will play an important role in improving the quality of healthcare for the people of Matiranga Upazila."
Banasree Kinder Garden Headmaster Abu Bakkar Siddique said, "Although everything has changed over time, the healthcare of the people of this area has not changed. With this medical center, low-income people will not have to go to the district city or Dhaka or Chittagong for treatment, all the tests and expert doctors' chambers are here. Only by providing accurate reports after conducting good tests will it be possible to gain that trust of the people.
The chairman of the institution, Md. Salauddin, said, "Money is not the last word. We started this institution with the aim of providing better services at a low cost. We want to make a revolutionary change in the medical sector. We will conduct tests here using the best quality machines in the world.
He expressed hope that no one's treatment will be stopped due to lack of money and people will have to gain trust by providing good services.
People from different classes of professions including freedom fighters, marketing representatives of pharmaceutical companies, teachers, media workers were present at the time.
