Coast Guard provides free medical care, medicines in Bhola

The Bangladesh Coast Guard provided free medical services and essential medicines to local residents during a community medical campaign in Bhola today.
Lieutenant Commander Sabbir Alam Sujan, Coast Guard Media Officer, shared the details of the outreach program on Monday afternoon.
According to the Coast Guard, alongside conducting regular humanitarian initiatives for coastal and riverine communities, the force routinely organizes medical campaigns to deliver free healthcare services.
As part of these ongoing efforts, Coast Guard Base Bhola organized a medical camp on Monday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the No. 11 Veduria Union Parishad premises under Bhola Sadar upazila. A total of 296 people received free medical consultations and necessary prescription medicines during the camp.
The Coast Guard reiterated its commitment to public welfare, stating that such people-oriented service activities will continue in the future, the press release added.
