Building prosperous nation is govt's goal : Minister Dulu

Disaster Management and Relief Minister Asadul Habib Dulu, MP, has stated that safeguarding lives and livelihoods, reducing disaster risks, and building a safe, prosperous, and green Bangladesh remain the core commitments guiding the government's journey forward alongside the people.
"Storms, tidal surges, and floods frequently strike coastal regions, forcing local populations into a constant struggle for survival against natural disasters. During such crises, the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief stands firmly beside the coastal people to ensure their safety and shelter," he said.
The minister made these remarks while addressing the audience as the chief guest during a program held on Tuesday afternoon at the Narayanganj Dockyard, where the ministry officially handed over 11 rescue boats to 11 coastal districts.
Japanese Ambassador to Bangladesh Saida Shinichi, State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Engineer M. Iqbal Hossain, MP, Narayanganj-5 MP Abul Kalam, Disaster Management and Relief Secretary Md. Saifur Islam, and JICA Bangladesh Chief Representative Ms. Junko Takashi spoke as special guests at the event.
