After unloading cargo, we anchored the bulkhead at the old ferry ghat area in Tetaitala on Sunday. Around 5:00 PM, both Atabor and I were standing on the deck of the bulkhead. At that time, another bulkhead named MV Toha Enterprise, loaded with stones, struck our vessel from behind. Atabor was hit on the head and fell into the river. We immediately jumped in and tried to rescue him, but after a long search, we couldn’t find him. We then informed the law enforcement authorities.”
