Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir believes that to raise the flag of Kalima on Allah’s land, the principles of the Quran must first be implemented, said the organization’s Central Secretary, Nurul Islam Saddam.
Speaking as the chief guest at a discussion and prayer program organized by the Noakhali North Branch of Islami Chhatrashibir on Monday afternoon at the Fakirhat Primary School ground in Senbag Upazila, marking the 29th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Golam Zakaria, he made these remarks.
He further stated that over the past 15 years, the extent of looting and corruption in the country has been so severe that even mosque imams, union parishad chairmen, and members have had to flee.
He also emphasized that to restore peace and order in educational institutions, which were previously controlled by Chhatra League, and to enhance the quality of education, a roadmap for student union elections in universities must be urgently announced.
The event was presided over by Daud Islam, President of the Noakhali North Branch, and moderated by Mujahidul Islam, Secretary of the North Branch. Special guests included Jamaat-e-Islami Noakhali District Nayeb-e-Ameer Principal Saiyed Ahmad, Chhatrashibir’s Central School Affairs Secretary Noman Hossain Nayan, and Senbag Upazila Jamaat Ameer Yasin Karim.
Central Executive Council member and Noakhali City Branch President Habibur Rahman Arman, South Branch President Saifur Rasool Fohad, and many others from the city branch were also present.
