BNP National Executive Committee member Tariqul Alam Tenzing conducted a leaflet distribution and mass outreach program to implement the 31 points announced on the instructions of BNP Chairperson Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman on Thursday.
Later, in a brief meeting held at the Upazila BNP office, he gave various directions to the party leaders and activists ahead of the upcoming national elections.
Speaking as the chief guest at the meeting, Tariqul Alam Tenzing said, "The 31 points announced by Tarique Rahman will not only show the path to freedom for the BNP, but it will show the way to the people of the entire country. If these points are implemented, good governance will be established in the country, the rule of law will return, and people's voting rights and democratic rights will be ensured. We are conveying these points to the people so that they understand what kind of state structure BNP will build if it comes to power."
Present with him at the time were former student leader Jamshidur Rahman, Upazila BNP joint convener Azmat Ali Bahadur, Municipality BNP member secretary GS Abul Bashar, BNP leaders Forkan Uddin Rizvi, Zahed Kamal, Zahir Uddin, Abul Kalam Azad, Saiful Amin, as well as leaders and well-wishers from various unions and BNP affiliates in Sandwip.
