Agricultural equipment distributed in Dimla

Under the Rangpur Division Agricultural and Rural Development Project, modern agricultural machinery was distributed on Thursday among farmers in Dimla Upazila of Nilphamari district. The distributed equipment included reapers, rice transplanters, and power sprayers.
The event was held to mark the distribution ceremony, where the UNO Md. Imranuzzaman, was present as the chief guest. Among the special guests were Upazila Agriculture Officer Mir Hasan Al Banna, Agricultural Extension Officer, Assistant Commissioner (Land), District Agricultural Engineer, Project Implementation Officer, and Social Services Officer. The program was also attended by respected journalists from both print and electronic media.
In their speeches, the officials highlighted that the use of modern agricultural machinery would significantly contribute to increasing productivity while saving time and labor. They expressed hope that this government initiative would play a vital role in improving farmers' livelihoods and ensuring national food security.
