Tk 10,000 fine for market monitoring in Hathazari

Market monitoring has been going on by the Hathazari Upazila administration of Chattogram.
On Tuesday afternoon at around 12:30 p.m., an operation was conducted at Sadar Bazar.
A fine of Tk 10,000 was imposed in two cases.
The company has been charged with a fine under the relevant section of the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009 for not having a price list and selling expired products.
The mobile court was conducted by the Assistant Commissioner (Land ) and Executive Magistrate, Mr. Lutfun Nahar Sharmin.
The members of the Hathazari police station and the employees of the upazila land office cooperated in the operation.
