Kaliganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Gazipur District SM Imam Razi Tulu has been promoted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) in recognition of his skill . He has been posted in Panchagarh district now.

The promotion of SM Imam Razi Tulu has been confirmed in a notification signed by the Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration Muhammad Ibrahim on Monday (November 4). SM Imam Razi Tulu is a child of Terkhada Upazila of Khulna District.

He completed his studies in Department of Plant Science from Dhaka University. Choukas is an officer of 34th BCS cadre.

BCS 34th batch officer S. M Imam Razi Tulu joined Muksudpur Upazila as Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) on 05 December 2022. Also, from 17 July 2022 to 4 December 2022, he served as Nagarkanda Upazila Executive Officer of Faridpur.

Earlier on June 29, 2021, he was promoted to the rank of Senior Assistant Secretary. Later on July 4, he was assigned the duty of Revenue Deputy Collector of Faridpur.

He also served as Assistant Commissioner (Land) in Ghazaria Upazila in Munshiganj. He served as Assistant Commissioner in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Joypurhat.

Joined as Kaliganj upazila executive officer on 19 March 2024. After joining as UNO, he has always given his best in all the work of administration as well as working for the people without interruption. Apart from that, ignoring the obstacles, he took a place in the hearts of the people of all levels of the upazila by doing creative and exceptional work through bravery. Because of this, SM Imam Razi Tulu was widely praised in a short time.

He has been praised for his brave actions during the Corona period. All in all, in the last one year, SM Imam Razi Tulu is trying hard to provide civic services including the welfare of the people of Kaliganj Upazila.

SM Imam Razi said, promotion is a great opportunity to work. However, I received the sincere support of people from all walks of life during my tenure in Kaliganj. I have tried to play the highest role for the people of Kaliganj from my sense of responsibility and duty. No matter where I perform my duties, I will always remember the residents of Kaliganj.
