Illegal car parking has been developed along about 18 km of Chattogram -Hathazari highway.

Although the highway is important, this road is neglected. Every day f.Although this highway is the only hope of communication for the vehicles of students, the road is free of traffic jams sometimes due to the administration's running for the admission test of different departments of C.B. Every day, hundreds of cars park on the side of this highway and cause traffic jam, but the administration does not take any initiative to remove it.

Although there are various car garages including CNG auto-rickshaws at various places in the 18 km area, basically the garages are packed and repaired by the side of the highway. Various vehicles going to the tourist towns of Rangamati and Khagrachari were plying through the road. Every day people working in the city commute from home. While traveling to the campus by various means of transport, the students of CB often suffer from traffic jams even in the early hours of the morning. Commuters and students will be saved from this suffering if the vehicles parked on both sides of the road are removed.

On the surface, it can be seen that cars are being packed and packed on both sides of the road and various garages are standing and repairing cars on the road. There are road dividers on this highway. Illegal piking has been built occupying 10 to 12 feet of the road on both sides.

Various vehicles including trucks, CNG-autorickshaws,micros keep packing as per their wish. Due to this, traffic jams have been created at various places on the road and the suffering has become extreme. The responsible administration is silent if hundreds of cars occupy the road and park illegally every day. Although there are regular highway police and traffic police on the highway, no legal action was taken against all these illegal pakings.

Hundreds of illegal vehicles parked on the side of the road from the city to Hathazari Bus Station, College Gate. According to the Traffic Control Act, keeping illegal vehicles on the road is completely illegal. Several motorists said that the traffic police check their documents every day, even though there is traffic jam on the road, they are busy pulling our documents without seeing it.

They also said that they took a certain amount of money from us by telling us to do duty at the traffic police station.
