Nahidul Islam Rizon, Nakla (Sherpur)

Dip John Mitra newly-appointed Nakla Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Sherpur district, exchanged views with Nakla Press Clubs' journalists at the upazila parishad auditorium on Tuesday afternoon.

At the beginning of the exchange meeting, the new UNO was greeted with flowers by the Nakla Press Club family. After the formal introduction, the exchange meeting was started. UNO Dip John Mitra presided over the meeting. The meeting was organized by the upazila administration.

Senior journalist Alhaj Mahbubar Rahman, president of the Nakla Press Club Md Musharaf Hossain, vice-president Khandkar Jasim Uddin Minto, representative of Daily Jaijaidin Shafiul Alam Lovelu and press club's publicity secretary Nahidul Islam Rizon and others were spoke.

UNO Dip John Mitra discussed about problems and potentials of the upazila with the journalists. He urged journalists to present informative news for overall development of the uapzila. He also sought cooperation from all quarters to establish a peaceful law and order situation in the Nakla upazila.

He called upon every journalist to disseminate and publish objective news based on transparency from their respective positions for the development of the country and the nation and to highlight the developmental activities of the government before the nation.

The journalists assured to support the administration from their respective places for the development of the country and the nation.

Nakla Press Club's General Secretary Mosharraf Hossain Sarkar Babu, Joint General Secretary Delwar Hossain, Sports Secretary Mohammad Farukuzzaman, Organizational Secretary Fazle Rabbi Rajon and Md Noor Hossain, Office Secretary Salim Reza, Finance Secretary Abdullah Al-Amin, Members Rezaul Hasan Safit, Mosharraf Hossain Shyamol, Sujan Mia, Hasan Mia and Limon Ahmed and other journalists of the press club were present.

CA Ainun Naeem Panel of Upazila Parishad, Office Assistant of Upazila Administration Helal Uddin and Habibur Rahman and others were in full cooperation to make this important meeting a success.

It is to be noted that Dip John Mitra joined his office in Nakla on October 20 (Sunday) morning as Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO). His native district is Dhaka. He started his career as an administrative officer after being selected as a candidate in the 35th BCS. He was working as Senior Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate (Revenue Branch, District Land Services and Consultancy Centre) in Faridpur District Commissioner's Office from January 22, 2022, then as Revenue Deputy Collector in the same district.
