Murder case against Shamim Osman, 192 others in N’ganj

A murder case has been registered in Fatulla Model Police Station in Narayanganj mentioning the names of 192 people, including former MP Shamim Osman, in the case of Md. Riaz's death after being shot at a signboard area during the students' movement in Narayanganj district on Wednesday .
Besides, 300 other unidentified accused have been made in the case.
Farzana Begum (25), the wife of the deceased Riaz, filed the case as the plaintiff. OC Shariful Islam of Fatulla Model Police Station confirmed the matter.
Farzana Begum said, Riaz was shot in front of the passport office on the signboard area of the Dhaka-Narayanganj link road during the students' movement on August 5. Locals rescued and took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead. Later we got the news and identified the body.
