Cyclone 'Dana’: Emergency meeting of District Disaster Management Committee in Barishal

An emergency meeting of the Barishal District Disaster Management Committee was held in the meeting room of the District Commissioner's office on Wednesday afternoon, to deal with the low pressure wave created in the Bay of Bengal.
Deputy Commissioner Barishal Mohammad Delwar Hossain presided over the meeting.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Gen) Barishal Lusikant Hajong, Civil Surgeon Barishal Dr. Maria Hasan, District Education Officer Barisal Md Jahangir Hossain, District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer Barishal and representatives of public and private institutions were also present.
In the emergency meeting, various important issues were highlighted and discussed to deal with the depression created in the Bay of Bengal.
