With the slogan "May all mothers and sisters be safe, let rape and torture stop in the country", hundreds of people from the upazila have formed a human chain in Kabirhat, Noakhali to protest the horror of rape and deterioration of law and order across the country.

The hour-long human chain was organized by Kabirhat Upazila and Municipal BNP and its affiliates and affiliated organizations at 11 am on Monday at Zero Point in Kabirhat Bazar.

Speakers said, the current situation in the country will become terrible if it continues like this. The rape of child Asia in Magura has shaken the whole country today, on the other hand, the two undesirable incidents in Narottampur and Chaprashir Hat in Kabirhat, Noakhali have already shamed us.

Addressing the current chief adviser , he further said, "We are not against the government, but he should give importance to the incidents that are happening across the country and arrange for exemplary punishment for the criminals very soon." On the other hand, he also said, addressing the police, those involved in the incidents that happened in Kabirhat should be brought under the law and no such heinous incident should be repeated.

Kabirhat Upazila BNP Convener Kamrul Huda Chowdhury Liton, Member Secretary Saurav Hossain Kamal, Joint Convener Arafater Rahman Hasan, Municipal BNP Convener Mostafizur Rahman Manju, Member Secretary Belayet Hossain Khokon, Upazila Jubo Dal Convener Shahadat Hossain, Member Secretary Abdul Bashet Hiron, Municipality Jubo Dal Convener Md. Hanif, along with leaders of BNP, Jubo Dal, Chhatra Dal and other affiliated organizations from upazilas, municipalities and various unions were present at the human chain.
