12 pick-ups, earth-cutting excavators seized in late-night operation at Fulgazi

Two soil-cutting excavators with 12 pickups were seized during illegal excavation of soil in cropland at the head of Munsirhat Nowapur road in Feni Fulgazi late on Sunday night.
Fulgazi UNO Taniya Bhuiyan led the special operation along with army and police Ansar.
Fulgazi Upazila Nirbahi Officer got the news that soil was being cut illegally in the crop land at the head of Noapur road of Fulgazi police station late at night on the basis of confidential information. Based on the news, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Taniya Bhuiyan conducted the operation along with the police forces, during which 12 soil transport trucks and 2 excavators were seized. Later, the seized pickup and goods were handed over to Fulgazi police station. For quite some time, the entire district observed a great festival of illegal cutting of soil in the dark of night by a class of unscrupulous soil-diggers.
Conscious people think that if the operation continues like this, the cropland will be saved to a large extent.
