A convening committee of the Press Club has been formed with journalists working in Lalmonirhat district on Friday.
A 19-member press club convening committee was formed through a meeting at the Golpokatha restaurant in the district town.
Dinkal newspaper staff reporter SM Golam Mostafa was made the convener and Daily Amar Desh newspaper Lalmonirhat district correspondent Hasan ul Aziz was made the member secretary.
Journalists working in the district were present at the meeting, chaired by senior journalist SM Golam Mostafa.
It is mentioned that a total of 46 journalists (working at national dailies and TV channels) are members.
The committee was announced by journalist Md. Lavlu Sheikh.
This committee will organize the elections within 3 months.
After the committee was announced, the general members extended their warmest wishes to the newly appointed members.
