Keeping in mind the slogan, "One by one, rapists should be hanged on a rope, if there is a rope, hang the rapist on a rope," a human chain and protest program was held in Munshiganj to protest against rape and demand the speedy punishment of rapists.

On Monday at 11 am, a human chain and protest program was held at the George Court field in Munshiganj and later ended in front of the Deputy Commissioner's office. In the human chain, voluntary organizations from various upazilas of Munshiganj and the people of all walks of life in Munshiganj protested against rape nationwide, demanded the speedy punishment of rapists, and held a human chain and protest program demanding 7-point demands.

At that time, various leaflets were written, Rapists are enemies of humanity, death should be the punishment, rapists have no place in my golden Bengal, the voice is forced again, dig the grave of rapists, catch the rapists! Otherwise, give up power! Let's go to war against the audience and demand the hanging of the rapists.

The 7 demands raised are ---

1. A tribunal should be formed quickly to try rape and the term of this tribunal should be a maximum of three months.2. If the accused in a rape case admits his guilt in the initial confession, then based on that confession, his maximum punishment should be ensured within 1 month. 3. Starting from the medical check-up of the victim and including all interrogations, all female doctors and female magistrates should be made. 4. The rapist's family should be expelled from society.5. If someone tries to frame someone based on the rape incident and if it is proven, he should be brought under strict legal punishment. If there is an attempt to cover up the rape incident in the name of village arbitration/trial, and if there is an attempt to blame the victim, those involved should also be brought under exemplary punishment. 6. The harmful effects of rape and the punishment for rape should be widely publicized through advertisements on official media channels. 7. Police patrols, Ansar, and village police should be activated in the district and the district should be brought under CCTV.
