A free typhoid (TCV) vaccination program has been inaugurated by the Upazila Health Complex in Porsha.
UNO Rakibul Islam inaugurated the program as the chief guest at the Nitpur Kusumkoli Government Primary School premises on Sunday morning. Upazila Health Family Planning Officer Dr. Nazir Ahmed, Kusumkoli Government Primary School Headmaster Shahjahan Ali, Assistant Teacher Hafizur Rahman, Health Assistant and other dignitaries were present at the time. MT, EPI Sahabul Alam said that this program will continue under the EPI program from October 12 to the next 18 days.
During this period, 23,850 people in various educational institutions of the upazila and 16,743 people outside educational institutions will be given typhoid vaccination.
