A meeting was held with local border cattle traders, public representatives and dignitaries at the initiative of Nitpur BOP of 16 Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Naogaon Battalion in Porsha.
The meeting was held from 5 pm to 6 pm on Tuesday at the field adjacent to Nitpur BGB camp. The meeting, organized to raise awareness on various issues including border smuggling, trafficking, infiltration, and prevention of killings, was addressed by 16 BGB Naogaon Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Md. Ariful Islam Masum PSC, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Nabila Ferdous and Police Station OC Mintu Rahman.
Nitpur Border 16 BGB Company Commander Subedar Mahfuzur Rahman, Havildar Babul, BGB members, local journalists and other dignitaries were present.
