BCS General Education Assoc Satkhira Govt College Unit observes strike, sit-in protesting teacher assault in Dhaka

A nationwide strike and black badge sit-in program has been observed at the initiative of the BCS General Education Association Satkhira Government College Unit, following the incident of teacher harassment at Dhaka College.
The program was held on Tuesday noon on the college campus.
At this time, BCS General Education Association Satkhira District Unit President, Satkhira Government College Principal Professor Md. Abul Hashem, Vice Principal Professor Md. Al Muntansir Bilah, English Department Head Dr. Md. Shahinur Rahman, Islamic Education Department Head Md. Miaraj Hossain, Islamic History Department Head Md. Chanowar Hossain, Economics Department Head Md. Mahmudul Hossain and other teachers were present.
The teachers' organization strongly condemned the attack on teachers, officials and students at the traditional Dhaka College and the vandalism of the teachers' lounge. At the same time, it demanded the immediate arrest and exemplary punishment of those involved in this incident.
