A protest march was held by Dacope Upazila and Chalna Municipality BNP in protest against the bomb attack on Khulna District BNP Member Secretary Abu Hossain Babu's house.

The protest march that took out on Tuesday afternoon turned into a street meeting at Bauma's grove after circumambulating the main road of Chalna Bazar.

The main speakers at the street meeting were Khulna District BNP Joint Convener Asit Kumar Saha and Upazila BNP Former Member Secretary Abdul Mannan Khan. Former Chalna Municipality BNP Convener Mozaffar Hossain was also present at the meeting.

Also present were Dakop Upazila and Chalna Municipality BNP Former Joint Conveners Sheikh Shahidul Islam, Mostafizur Rahman Mostak, SM Golam Quader, Moidul Islam, Kamruzzaman Tuku, Jannatul Ferdous, Sheikh Rafiqul Islam, Hafizur Rahman, Mahabur Mollah, Ashraf Hossain, Shahidul Mollah, Shafiqul Islam Mollah, Abdur Razzak Mollah, Delwar Hossain, Abdur Razzak Sheikh, Ferdous Sana, Azim Howlader, Ratan Roy, Meshkat Mollah, Sameer Saha, Mahabub Sheikh, Ashish Banerjee, Khokon Gazi, Haque Sheikh, Sameer Saha, Sabbir Sheikh, Anup Halder Prince, Arif Billah Sardar, Khokon Goldar, Masud Ahmed Rana, Haque Sheikh, Saddam Hossain, Ilyas Sardar, Shishir Biswas Paltu, Bijon Goldar, Mizan Sheikh, Imran Hossain Shahadat, Sanjay Mahaldar, Shariful Islam, Saddam Hossain, Mujahidul Islam, Mostakim Sheikh, Zainul Ghazi, Arafat Sheikh, GM Rumon, Riaz Sardar, Rifaz Sardar, Fazlul Karim and other leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliates.

The speakers said that the democratic movement cannot be suppressed by attacking and intimidating the houses of BNP leaders. They announced that they will continue the movement on the streets in protest against the attacks on the protesting leaders and activists.
