CC cameras installed by administration to strengthen law, order situation in Jaldhaka

CC cameras have been installed at important points of the municipality under the management of the Upazila administration and Thana Police to ensure overall law and order and security in Nilphamari Jaldhaka.
UNO Zaid Imrul Mojakkin and Thana OC Arzu Mohammad Sajjad Hossain are working to implement this program throughout the week.
According to sources, this initiative of the Upazila administration is to cover the entire municipality with the moon of security as a beacon of overall development of law and order, ensuring public safety, and preventing unwanted accidents caused by criminal mischief including theft, robbery.
It is learnt that about 23 high-power full-fledged CCTV cameras have been installed at important points of public gathering, including Jiro Point intersection, traffic intersection, Thana intersection, Beltoli intersection, Upazila Road, Upazila Parishad main gate, petrol pump, Domar Dimla Road and others. In this regard, Thana Officer-in-Charge OC Arzu Mohammad Sajjad Hossain said, about 23 CCTV cameras have been installed so far. All these CCTV cameras will be controlled from the police station. Monitoring will be done through prudent observation at all times. So that no untoward incident can occur at important points of the municipality. For this, we, the police station authorities, will always be on alert. In this regard, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Zaid Imrul Mozakkin said, the issue of security comes up in the monthly law and order meetings based on the upazila. Due to manpower shortage, there is no opportunity to observe everything all the time. As a result, the administration has taken this measure to ensure the security of the municipality, the Upazila Parishad and public gathering places and to avoid public safety, unwanted controversy and theft, robbery, robbery and all kinds of criminal activities by miscreants from business establishments at night.
UNO Zaid Imrul Mozakkin said, these CCTV cameras will be controlled by the local police station, the municipality authorities and the Upazila administration. Monitoring will be done from three levels based on the Upazila. So that the public, starting from the business community of the municipality, benefits from this program.
We, the Upazila administration, have taken this step keeping in mind the issue of ensuring overall security. I hope that the general public of Jaldhaka will enjoy this technological facility.
