Jasim Jewel in discussion as JSD Rob candidate in Feni

Jasim Jewel, son of prominent cultural figure ATM Faruk, former cultural secretary of Bangladesh Chhatra League JSD Chittagong Metropolitan, has come into discussion in the area as a possible candidate for JSD Rob in the Parshuram, Fulgazi, Chagalnaiya parliamentary seat.
During his college life, he served as the president of Bangladesh Chhatra League Parshuram College branch and vice-president of Upazila Chhatra League.
Later, he was involved in various cultural activities and was active in JSD politics. In a phone conversation with Jasim Jewel, he said, "I was in JSD politics from the beginning of my life and did not deviate from the policies of ASM Abdur Rober. So if ASM Abdur Rober and leader Tania Rober nominate me for Beni 1 constituency from JSD, then I will be a candidate."
