A workshop on Developing Key Messages and Communication materials on the importance of Women & Girls' Education, GBVP and SRHR in CHT Held in Rangamati.
The theme of this workshop "Women & Girls Empowerment through Inclusive Education in Chittagong Hill Tracts (WGEIE) component"
On Wednesday (February 12) at 10 am, the Chief Executive Officer of the Rangamati District Council, Khondaker Mohammad Rizaul Karim, was the chief guest at the workshop organized by the Rangamati Hill District Council at the Annex Building of the Rangamati District Council.
District Education Officer Mridul Kanti Talukder and District Primary Education Officer Hrishikesh Shil were also present at the workshop.
UNDP, ERRD, CHT Project Communication Associate Fahim Hasan, UNDP, ERRD, CHT Project Upazila Facilitating Associate Champa chakma, RHDC, M&E officer Trapa chakma.
The workshop discussed the importance of women's and girls' education. What can be done to prevent gender-based violence, and sexual and reproductive health and rights were discussed.
