UP member cut soil of canal risking rural road in Amtali

Former UP member Md. Dulal Madbar has filled his garden by cutting the soil of the village of Ghasan Khakan canal in Dharnarayan village of Amtali upazila. Locals complain that the rural road is at high risk. They said the road could collapse. Locals have demanded action against the UP member.
It is reported that Khakadan canal adjacent to the village of Dharnarayan village in Amtali upazila. The Union Parishad of the Eighthogachia Union has built a rural raw road to the canal. Former UP member Md. Dulal Madbar has built a house along the road.
On Tuesday night, a member of the UP filled the canal with a vacu machine and filled his garden house. The rural road is at high risk. Locals complained that the rural road had collapsed due to the canal cutting of the canal. Thousands of people in the area have to suffer a lot when the road collapses.
Al Amin and Safiqul Islam of Dharnarayan village said that former UP members cut the soil of the street with a vacuum machine in the middle of the night and filled his garden. The rural road is at high risk. They said the road was likely to collapse.
Former UP member Md. Dulal Madbar admitted to cut the soil of the canal and said that it would not have any problem on the road.
Chairman of the Ethaarogachia Union Parishad Md. Rafiqul Islam Ripon said, "We have banned the former UP member to cut the soil of the canal."
Amtali UNO Muhammad Ashraful Alam said, "I know the matter." The search will be taken immediately with the news.
