Three arrested with pistol in Shibganj

District Detective Police (DB) arrested 3 people along with a domestic pistol and 3 rounds of bullets in Shibganj of Bogura on the basis of secret information.
They were arrested at Sonatala road of Mokamtala intersection of the upazila around 9 pm on Tuesday.
The arrested are Ahsan Habib (42) son of Abdul Latif of Yusubpur village of Sadullapur police station of Gaibandha district, and Alamgir Hossain (34) son of Abdul Gafur of Sidai village of Sadar police station and Anwar Hossain (35) son of Shahjamal.
Bogura District Police Spokesperson and Additional Superintendent of Police Suman Ranjan Sarkar confirmed the matter and said that the DB Police conducted a raid and arrested the three persons along with a domestic pistol and 3 rounds of bullets.
A motorcycle used by them was seized. There are several cases against them including robbery and murder. Further legal proceedings are underway against them.
