Workers' rally in Kalai for Mayor candidate Anisur Rahman Talukdar

Organized by the residents of Kalai Municipality and presided over by Mofazzal Hossain Talukdar, a workers' rally for Md. Anisur Rahman Talukdar—member and former Vice-President of Joypurhat District BNP, as well as a mayor candidate for the upcoming Kalai Municipal Elections—was held on Friday afternoon, August 7, 2026, at the Kalai Bus Stand premises.
Speaking as the chief guest, Anisur Rahman Talukdar stated, "Overcoming various adversities during the previous government's tenure, I actively participated in street movements and struggles. I have consistently strived to stand by our party leaders and activists in both good times and bad. I seek your blessings, support, and cooperation for the upcoming municipal elections. If elected, I will work alongside the residents to transform Kalai into a modern, clean, and citizen-friendly municipality."
Other key speakers at the event included Kalai Municipal BNP member Rezaul Islam, former Convener of Kalai Municipal Jubo Dal Shamim Talukdar, Advocate Nafi-ut Zaman Talukdar (Dollar), Abdul Qaiyum, Bazlur Rahman, and Lutfor Rahman, alongside local leaders from BNP and its associate organizations.
A large number of local leaders, activists, and supporters from BNP and its affiliated wings attended the assembly.
