Women's cricket final held in Sreepur

The women's cricket final was held in Sreepur under Gazipur district. The game was held at Tengra Shishu Palli Ground in Sreepur on Monday. Students from eight secondary educational institutions of the upazila competed in the game.
In the final game of the tournament, Haji Choto Kalim School and College defeated Tepirbari Ansar High School by 37 runs and became the champion.
Haji Choto Kalim School and College won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 99 runs. Ansar Tepirbari High School fell behind by 37 runs after losing 6 wickets.
Patricia Vivian Karr, founder of Shishu Palli Plus, Upazila Education Officer, teachers of the competing educational institutions and Shishu Palli Plus officials handed over the trophy to the champion team.
Jhuma of Haji Choto Kalim School and College won the best player of the tournament award and was adjudged the best player of the match.
