Woman dies of dengue in Galachipa

A housewife named Suma Rani Pal (30) of Ward No. 4 of Galachipa Municipality died of dengue at Galachipa Health Complex on Thursday night.
She is the wife of Sujan Pal, the owner of Pal Telecom, a shop on the north side of Galachipa police station.
It is learnt that there are 104 patients admitted in 21 beds in Galachipaya Health Complex. 16 of them are dengue patients. According to hospital sources, Suma was admitted to Rani Pal Galachipa Health Complex at 8:10 pm on Thursday. After the first treatment, on the way from Galachipa to Barishal, she died on Thursday night at a place called Ferighat. Sujan Paul alleged that his wife Suma Rani Paul died at Galachipa Health Complex.
Health and Family Planning Officer of Galachipa Health Complex Dr. Md. Mejbah Uddin said that a female dengue patient named Suma Pal (30) was admitted to Galachipa Health Complex. She was referred to Barishal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment.
