The deceased Farzana is the daughter of Nazim Peyada of Itbaria village in Tiakhali Union. Her husband is Nazmul Faraji, father is Md. Kamal Faraji. They have a three-year-old daughter in their married life.

According to local sources, there was a long-standing dispute between the husband and wife over talking to another young man on the mobile phone.
