Within five hours of case goods worth Tk 3 lakh recovered, accused arrested in Habiganj

At the direction of Habiganj Superintendent of Police Md. Rezaul Haque, the District Detective Branch (DB) within 05 (five) hours of the receipt of the theft case recovered goods worth Tk 3,00,000/-(three lakhs) and the accused was arrested on Sunday.
Md. Atkiur Rahman (42), son of deceased Mashwar Ali has stolen harvester one hydraulic distributor of AG-600 model machine, one unloading electric motors (12 bolts) of 4LG-4.0E model machine goods and other parts estimated at 2,50,000/- and Tk 50,000/-= 3,00 ,000/- if he ran away after stealing Habiganj Sadar Police Station Case No-16, Tang-12/01/2025 AD, filed a case under Section 379 of Penal Code 1860.
Habiganj Superintendent of Police and Additional Superintendent of Police, Habiganj Sadar Circle, with the assistance of OC of Habiganj Sadar Model Police Station and Shaistaganj Police Station, under the leadership of OC , DB with the information and technology of Cyber Crime Monitoring Cell, forces, to file the case 05 Accused 01 conducted raids at various places in the district within a period of five) hours.
Md. Tajul Islam (45), father-deceased Hormuz Ali in Shaistaganj of Habiganj district and 02. Md. Sirajul Islam (28), father Md. Kala Miah was arrested from his house and evidence was recovered and the accused were sent to the learned court according to the rules.
District Superintendent of Police Md. Rezaul Haque Khan confirmed the matter.
